Chris Parkhouse
Deyton Bell, the business development experts based near Cambridge in the UK, was established by Managing Director Chris Parkhouse in 2005.
The firm provides expertise and specialist sales, marketing and partnership related services to organisations of all sizes and from all sectors, operating in the UK and overseas with a particular interest in transatlantic issues.
Chris is an expert in business development issues who has spent over 25 years with high profile organisations operating both domestically and internationally.
His experience was gained while working with groups such as Aegon, Virgin, Abbey and Santander in roles such as Corporate Sales Director and Director of Strategic Alliances.
Over the years Chris has been responsible for various businesses and business units ranging from small specialist teams to large scale initiatives involving thousands of corporate clients operating around the world.
Across both his personal and professional interests, Chris has been a member of or has participated in various forums such as Boards, executive management groups, senior management teams, committees, working groups and project teams.
Chris has spoken at events in the UK, in the USA, in Europe and in the Far East and has made various TV, radio, newspaper and magazine contributions over the years.
Chris is Chairman of Business Link East, Chairman of The Institute of Directors (IoD) in Cambridgeshire, a member of the Regional Council of the IoD and represents the IoD on the Partnership Board of the Greater Cambridge Partnership.
He is a member of the Cambridgeshire Chamber of Commerce International Committee, a Fellow of the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management, a member of the British American Business Council, a member of the Cranfield Management Association and is involved with several other voluntary and business groups.
He has lived, worked and been educated in both the UK and the USA and has dual UK/US nationality.
He is 47, and lives with his wife and 2 children near Cambridge in the UK. He is an extremely keen rower and sculler who trains and competes wherever possible.
