1. Workshop – Sending the Right Message
Wednesday 11th of November 2009 from 9.00 to 13.00 St. Augustine's, 125 Canterbury Road, Westgate on Sea, CT8 8NL.
Presentation and communication – getting the right kind of messages out. Do you want to gain more out of life and from your relationships? Would you like to know how to deal with those difficult situations that crop up? Are you projecting out the right image? Now is the time to find out.
This is a fun, interactive workshop during which you will learn tips and wrinkles on how to get what you want and make quality relationships along the way.

2. Workshop - Introduction to eBay – a guide to buying and selling
Saturday 21st November from 9.00 to 16.30 at the University Centre Folkestone Mill Bay, Folkestone, CT20 1JG.
This one-day course is designed to spread knowledge of the phenomenon and provide useful tips and tools that will assist you. The workshop will cover the following:
- About eBay - history of eBay, useful facts, the eBay journey, the eBay community and safety tips
- Buying – setting up as a buyer, the buying community, know the rules, get the bargains and understanding the feedback system
- Watch out - scams, plans and frauds
- Selling – setting up as a seller, listing the basic facts, introduction to digital photography, images, pricing strategies, using the cost calculator, understanding the fees, descriptions, payment options, managing buyer satisfaction and eBay policies
- eBay Tools - PayPal (basic introduction), Training Mode the eBay assistance system
- Plus all the new elements, rules and updates
