The Pay and Work Rights Helpline can help employers stay within the law. If you're an employer and you have any queries relating to the minimum wage, working hours or what deductions you can and can't make from workers' pay, we can help you.

There are different regulations depending on which sector you do business in; e.g. whether you are a recruitment agency employing temporary workers or a gangmaster supplying or using workers in the agricultural or food processing sectors.

Making this kind of information more available and accessible will help you in running your business. And it means there's no excuse for your competitors to undercut you. So when it comes to ensuring there's a level playing field, we can be a powerful friend.

In good times or in bad, we want to make sure employers have the right information and workers are getting the rights they're entitled to.
