Multi-language road safety information for HGV drivers

If you employ or give work to foreign drivers of heavy goods vehicles, you should make sure they understand the rules for driving on England's major road network.

To help you reduce the risk of accidents and disruption to delivery schedules, the Highways Agency has published road safety factsheets in six languages. Each factsheet covers various aspects of safe driving, including speed limits, lane discipline and other driving rules, and roadside signs and emergency stopping areas.

As a transport manager, you can download and print these factsheets and give them to new drivers before they start working for you.

This guide explains what the factsheets cover, the languages they are available in, and how to download them.
